We are very excited about our new partnership with the REFUGES program (Refugees Exploring Foundations in Undergraduate Education in Science) hosted by the Center for Science and Mathematics Education. This partnership brings 3 of our modern dance students together to offer weekly dance classes to middle school youth as part of the after school program.
ArtsBridge will continue working with the Mestizo Arts and Activism program where university students and high school students work together on student lead projects relating to social justice and artivism.
“Reading In Motion Inspired” is a music & literacy program based on the award winning Reading In Motion program out of Chicago. We hold weekly classes with Kindergarten students over the course of the entire school year. This year we will be working with Lincoln Elementary, Washington Elementary, and Parkview Elementary in the Salt Lake City School District and with Academy Park Elementary in the Granite School District
Seven Canyons Trust and the Center for the Living City have asked ArtsBridge to be a partner on a series of arts projects surrounding their efforts to daylight creeks in the Glendale neighborhood. More activities surrounding this project will take place in spring 2017.
Integrated Filmmaking with 6th grade will take place in the spring at Early Light Academy
We are currently working on adding more programming for the 2016-2017 school year!
